Hello!
I’m Charlotte Louise Meader a translator, content creator, proofreader, copywriter.
I am an enthusiastic and versatile person with a very dedicated, professional, and mature attitude to work. My aim is to help my clients engage with an English & French audience by translating their message and adopting the correct intonation and cultural considerations. I have been a professional translator since 2020.
My Background

From a young age, I discovered my passion for languages when I moved to France at the age of 10, fully immersing myself in the rich French culture. The challenges of learning a new language and witnessing the lack of compassion from many educators inspired me to become a language teacher and to continue expanding my linguistic horizons.
My academic journey led me to pursue Translation & Interpretation studies with a focus on Chinese and French. This path took me to Shanghai for a year, where I honed my skills and achieved a professional level of proficiency in Chinese. Although I have chosen to pause my work with Chinese for the time being, the experience significantly enriched my linguistic and cultural understanding.
Having graduated with a BA honours in Chinese & French with a distinction, specialising in Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting studies at Chester University, I act in a professional and serious manner when it comes to my work. I have my dual French-British nationality, which demonstrates my level of native fluency in both languages.
